Horse Shoe Awards
are aimed at Junior members (6-12 years) to provide a gentle
introduction to the procedures and experiences of CTR riding
and a foundation on which to build for their future equestrian
endeavors. They operate in a similar way
to the Shamrock gradings and will give the CTR riders of the
future experience of progressive achievement over time.
Horse Shoe
Logbooks are available & the logbook gives more
detail about each of the awards and has spaces for ride details
and signatures. It also explains the minimum
ages for starting each award, and details the necessity for
adult supervision of young riders while they complete these
awards.
Please
contact the ride organizer before travelling to rides at which
your child would like to attempt a Horse Shoe Award.
