ILDRA Trophies

The following trophies are currently awarded by ILDRA

1. YORK TROPHY
   Horse and rider combination achieving the highest ILDRA mileage in Ireland in their first competitive (CTR) season.
2. SHAMROCK ACHIEVERS TROPHY
   This is open to a combination where either the RIDER or the HORSE is gold qualified, but not both. Should both become qualified during the season then they are ineligible. One of the combination must remain unqualified at gold level for the combination to be eligible.
3. BINT EASTERN ZAPPHIRE TROPHY/ARAB CHAMPIONSHIPS
   Arab horse (registered on the register of the Arab Horse Society as a pure bred Arab) with the highest mileage in CTRs and ERs.
4. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
   Gold qualified horse and rider combination achieving highest competitive mileage (excluding ERs).
5. JACKSONS PRIDE TROPHY
   Rider with the highest points (the points to be allocated by the Trophy Committee of the Board of Directors in accordance with a formula taking into account mileage and placings in the rider’s best three rides) in ILDRA ERs.
6. INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP
   Horse and rider combination (both silver qualified) with the highest mileage in CTRs. Gold qualified do not count in towards this trophy.
7. NOVICE CHAMPIONSHIP
   Horse and rider combination (not silver and gold qualified and not their first year of competition) with the highest mileage in CTRs. Silver qualifiers do not count towards this trophy.
8. VETERAN CHAMPIONSHIP
   Rider aged 50, or over, on 1st January, and horse combination with the highest mileage in CTRs
9. ZARA JUNIOR CUP
   Junior rider (gold qualified) and horse combination (horse not necessarily Gold qualified) with the highest mileage in CTRs and ERs
10. JUNIOR NOVICE TROPHY
    Junior rider (not gold qualified) and horse combination with the highest mileage in CTRs
11. HUSSAR PLEASURE TROPHY
    Horse and rider combination completing the highest pleasure mileage
12. NORTHERN REGION TROPHY (Sport Horse Trophy)
    Registered horse (excluding a pure bred Arab) with the highest mileage in CTRs and ERs
13. BOSS TROPHY (Stallion Trophy)
    Registered stallion with the highest mileage in CTRs and ERs
14. ENTERPRISE TROPHY (Mare Trophy)
    Registered mare with the highest mileage in CTRs and ERs
    
     (“Registered” in 12, 13, and 14 means registered with the Irish Horse Board, the Northern Ireland Horse Board or any recognised breed society (subject to the exception of 12)
    
    
    MILLENNIUM TROPHY (14.2hh Trophy)
    Pony under 14.2hh (148cm) with the highest mileage in CTRs and ERs
15. TEAM SPIRIT AWARD
    Awarded at the directors’ discretion for the greatest contribution and effort towards furthering ILDRA activities in the year
16. CARRIG DANCER TROPHY (Cathalin Trophy)
    The best crew as determined by the Trophy Committee based on nominations by members in the form of a letter explaining why you think they should win.
17. MARINA GOLD TROPHY
    Awarded to the Young Rider (under 21) with the highest mileage in ERs and all FEI Races (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*)
18. FAIRVIEW GYPSY GOLD TROPHY
    Awarded to the veteran horse 16yrs & over with the highest mileage in Pleasure rides and CTRs
