Wolfhill

The 7^th of February saw the Irish long Distance Riding Association Leinster branch congregate in Wolfhill Co. Laois village this is a popular venue with all, as it has good going underfoot at any time of year so is ideal for getting that extra work into your horse pre-season. As always thanks to the organiser for preparing the course and marking the route. John Ryan is relatively new to endurance but has jumped in and is a huge benefit to the club.

The day its self-remained dry which added to the enjoyment had by all .The course rode well with familiar experienced Endurance competitors taking the opportunity to add to the fitness of their horses, while new members and first time endurance riders took it all in while making plans for the future rides.

  Big thanks to all for turning out on the day. It was nice to see new faces Rosey English and Tracey Bourke who travelled from Tipperary. We would like to welcome new members Jane Doyle and Stephen Trant hoping they have an exciting and successful year with IlDRA. Also have a good day out was Nikki Boud Tighe, Clifford Fenton, Jamie Ryan, Haleema Dowd, Willow O'Carroll, Aisling and Paddy Doyle and Geraldine Cantwell
