For 2017 we have had to increase the entry fees very slightly. But we have alos intoduced, for this year, an Early Bird Entry Offer. For Early Bird Entries you will only pay last years rates. To avail of this offer you MUST enter on or before Mon 6th Aug. Therafter there will be a small increase applied to all categories of rides.
This is a late addition to St. Patrick's Coast Ride this year - full eligibility will be published here very soon.
Non-Members of ILDRA are of course welcome.

The scoring will be based on French Formula. This system takes into account the distance ridden, your speed and your final Heart Rate. Go too fast and your heart rate may let you down so it is a great challenge to get round in a reasonable time and having a decent heart rate when you finish.
On arrival at the ride check in at the office and collect your rider pack and number (If you entered early and did not declare for this class nor have adviced us so we have amended your entry) declare for the class when you check in.
You need to vet before you start and make sure your time is recorderd at the start, when you finish again make sure your time is taken and then return to your trailer or crewing area to cool your hosre down and try and reduce the heart rate. You then return to the vets for final vetting within a pre defined time - normally 30 minutes after finishing. This time window may be changed on the day by the vets so check the notice board in the office when you are registering.
Pleasure Rides of 16km (10 miles) and 32km (20miles) will be available.

A range of Competitive rides will be available staring at 32km (20 miles) and going up to 80km (50 miles).
You must be a member of ILDRA or other recognised Endurance organisation and you and your horse or pony must be qualified to ride the distance entered.

Entry Fees will be Standard ILDRA CTR fees + £5.00 - Early Bird Entries will be te standard fee.
ERs (Endurance Rides) of 80km (50 miles) will be available. If demand justifies we can also run a 120km (75 mile) ride as well. Please email or Facebook us if interested. No interest expressed - No ride.
