ILDRA EGM Report

At an EGM of the association held on 24th November 2018, following lively, but courteous discussion, the members passed a special resolution which provided (inter alia) for a reduction in the number of directors, mandated the directors to commence discussions with HSI and interested groups in Ireland regarding the future of endurance riding in Ireland and expressed confidence in Kathy Conly (as Company Secretary) and David Cunningham and Helen McFarland (as organisers of the St. Patrick’s Coast Ride).

The resolution was carried on a majority vote of 66 for and 3 against with 2 abstentions, indicating over 95% of the votes cast were in favour of the motion.

An EGM of the company, as requisitioned by the members, has been called by the board of directors for Saturday 24th November. The meeting will take place at City North Hotel, Gormanstown, Co. Meath at 2:00pm.

All members will be duly notified with a copy of the resolution and appropriate paperwork in due course.
